Splendid. What an awesome view of a reformed ultra baddie ^-^ He looks so serious, and you can see that sort of haunted look in his eyes...very nice.

And the overlay with the skulls is cool. I don't imagine such an effect would be easy in this medium!

Thanks! First I painted Marrik in solid, and then I used a stenciling technique--cutting holes into a paper and then flecking it with a toothbrush. Then, since that didn't show up as well, I went over it with some thin white paint.
